Christian Ed/Sunday School News/Dates to Remember

Rally Day is Sunday, September 9th at 9 am.

Pre-K tru 7th grade- report to the Gathering Room; 8th grade and up - report to your rooms

Confirmation students and parents: There will be a mandatory Parent Meeting on Sunday, September 9th in Heritage Hall at 9:15 am.

On Rally Day there will be Rise & Shine breakfast during Sunday School - you don't want to miss it.

Rally Day will have a Luau theme.  Please wear your favorite Luau clothes to Sunday School to kick off the year.

Pre-K thru 6th grade will be studying the LIfe of Moses for the first 7 weeks:

September 16th: Moses as a Baby

September 23rd: God Speaks with Moses

September 30th: Pharaoh's Last Chance

October 7th: Parting the Red Sea

October 14th: The Ten Commandments 

October 21st: The Ten Commandments

October 28th: Wandering the Desert

October 28th: The children will sing during the the worship service. Please make plans to be there!

Frozen Fellowship: The Christian Education and Nurture Committee is collecting homemade frozen meals and delivering them to those in need of a night off from cooking (new moms, recent surgery, caretakers of an ill love-one, etc) If you are interested in donation a frozen meal or know someone from church in need of a meal, contact any CE&N member or call Julie Speckman (567)-303-8157. Thank you.  

Volunteers: We are always in need of volunteer help in our Sunday School program. Please contact a member of the Christian Ed Committee if you feel called to help us. We can always use piano players, as well. Also, a big shout out to those who help week in and week out...you are appreciated!
